And as a Certified Microsoft Partner we are excited about the launch too.
Windows 8s form factor gives application developers more freedom regarding application development, this coupled with the more user friendly interface, based on Microsofts metro design language will allow for an improved user experience, when compared to Windows 7. Windows 8 also makes greater use of cloud computing, using Microsofts SkyDrivewhich allows users to share and accessinformation by means of many different platforms and formats running Windows 8, without having to constantly update information on each device.
The basic idea regarding cloud computing and storage, is that all backed up information is stored online which means that everything is available all the time on the internet, allowing the users PC or tablet to run at optimum efficiency.
Speaking of efficiency, The Computer Guys offer Managed Services and Service Level Agreementsfor our customers, this decreases the costs involved regarding IT management. As IT may be outsourced allowing customers to decrease the size and scope of their in house IT department. Managed Services allow us to prevent and solve IT problems remotely via automated IT tasks and preventative measures, using state of the art technology to prevent downtime.
All businesses need a fast and efficient IT infrastructure to conduct activities at all times, therefore service level agreements allow for specific service levels personally designed for each customer, to ensure that there is less downtime. In other news The Computer Guyz has just refurbished our offices, thus allowing customers to interact with the new technology in our Client Zone, with our in office LCD screens proudly displaying Windows 8, in order to get customers comfortable and acquainted with the new operating system before its launch later this year. Also our workshop is currently undergoing renovations which will allow for easy customer access, to facilitate a better customer experience and allow for faster and more efficient service delivery.
