subject: Lose Weight With Free Diet [print this page] If you want to learn to lose weight then you are on the right page.
Guidance is good but ultimately you must learn to better choices in your eating which leads to you getting the opportunity to maintain your new shape after the weight is lost.
The free diet means different things to different people. Unless you have a specific body weight (as actors and actresses do) to maintain, basically a normal life is best. Eating out sometimes, enjoying parties sometimes, and generally do not feel watching what to eat, or suffering the consequences. The non-diet approach is good because you do not have to pay attention.
What is the free diet?
Vegetables: Enjoy unlimited raw, steam, baked. Go for it. Unless you are allergic, there is no reason to shun fresh vegetables. Wean yourself from sauces, and learn them as without added butter or salt. Vegetables such as carrots and beets for example are very high in natural sugars, which you would want to eat and would thereby get enough vitamin C among others.
Fruit: Try at least one or two pieces a day. More is fine. There is no reason to limit yourself to a quarter of a melon or a small apple. That's not exactly going to break the diet bank, right? Eat all the fresh fruits you want, especially late at night when you're working on learning to do away with your chips or cookie habit. Apples are great for snacking, like grapes, bananas, kiwi or whatever you want. Try to eat mostly fresh fruits, and canned fruits.
Dried fruits such as raisins is a super concentrated food source and should be treated with respect. A few thrown on your morning cereal or in your trail mix is fine, but remember super concentrated food is also high calorie foods. Learn the difference between the densely packed nutrients and loosely packed nutrients. Corn-on-the-cob is loose, corn syrup is closed (and process).
Clean food in relation is as close as possible to their natural state without being fanatical about. There is a world of difference between a baked potato and a bowlful of chips. One is a good source of nutrients and is very sophisticated, rich saturated fat and salt. One is satisfactory and leaves you wanting more.
Have the habit of chips and crackers to eat out of a box. Once in a while is okay, but if you eat them regularly, then you need to make a change. Cakes, crackers and the like are just not good for everyday, if you want a healthy body weight. Not even every other day. Once a week is enough, and if you cannot commit to weaning yourself off those foods, then you need to adjust to life with a higher body weight. It's not a character flaw, but it is a fact that you have to face. What you eat determines how healthy you will be, both body and mind.
Whole-meal means whole grain. Bread, whole-meal lists is not 100% whole grain. You want a 100% whole grain or 100% whole grain seen. Brown bread is not always whole grain, but it can also be brown, because some of molasses were added to provide color to brown. Whole-wheat breads are heavier, more dense, chewier. I think they are better. You would not share that belief, especially if you're used to the light and airy white bread.
