They include little extras to make it an experience you want to remember and talk about. Of course, this won't take the place of your girl's night scrap booking or watching girly films. It will just be you and your best friends talking about something other than your children, feeling the stress roll off of you.
So today as you go about your day baking for the school fundraiser and rocking baby down for a nap consider yourself. Consider giving yourself a day that doesn't involve crayons in the dryer and cooking dinner. Women are notorious for trying to do it all. That's why women need to give themselves a break. In fact, after a break you will come back refreshed, a better mother, and you might resemble the wife your husband married. You might smile brighter.
