subject: Homemade Hair Treatment, Why? [print this page]

We are so stressed out by hair loss that we would do just about anything to get their hair back. And this is exactly where we are going wrong. We not only lose hair, but money, confidence, self-esteem and so much more; especially women. The reason for all this loss is decision making in the over-stressed paradigm. We just get up and to a spa/parlor and give our hair an expert or any xyz homemade hair treatment. We dont do the same with our bodies do we; we work out; put some energy in, get our blood pumping; for getting our body into the dress. Well just like our bodies our hair wants our attention too.

Homemade hair treatments are usually preferred because they tend to be low on cost and are made with the ingredients that we all have in our households. But is this all that we need to know for giving a treatment to our hair; Not quite. The problem with the homemade hair treatments is that unlike an expert we dont really the essential (WTNW) of our hair.

Why are we losing hair? Is it because of any one of the following reasons; but remember that some they are curable while others just have to be dealt with.

1. Heredity: Check your parents or grandparents; because if genius can miss a generation, so can baldness.

2. Hormonal: Like child birth, discontinuing or taking certain pills, a replacement therapy, and thyroid problems.

3. Disease: Like auto-immune disease

4. Trauma: From tractions in a tight pony tail or an impulse control disorder.

5. Scalp Ringworm: Medically known as Tinea Capitis.

6. Medication: Some medicines or long-term illness like cancer.

Type of Hair: Dry, Oily, Balanced Normal.

Nutrition: Vitamins, Proteins, good chemicals in our diets that effect hair (negatively and positively).

Exposure: it can be changing weather or extreme cold and dry, or heat and sweaty.

The best homemade hair treatment that we can apply is that one that is according to our own WTNW. For example if you have oily hair and you just read an article on a treatment in which a mayonnaise massages is preferred; that might not be a good idea for you. Generally the side-effects of parlor products are vigorously questioned; but what if a homemade hair treatment of sour cream causes irritation? How about a hot massage of almond oil in UAE in June?

Be certain that the best homemade hair treatment is the one that is not only an arm stretch away but is not triggering allergies or diseases. Your scalp might be sensitive to things in the beginning or just after the homemade hair treatment so be sure to be gentle and politely with your hair. Allow your scalp and your hair to adjust with the changing environment and new medium infused; give it space and care.

Always remember that if we hide our weaknesses they find a way to come out; but if we leave them out in the open, nobody really notices.
