Okay so it seems that you have grown bored of lobsters, shrimps and prawns; now it is time you try something else in your kitchen. How about laying your hands on clams? They are as tastier and juicier as shrimps and prawns and are known for their nutritious value. Freshly picked clams have become a favorite amongst foodies who long for truly tastier food.

Now, that some of your friends are coming to join you over dinner you must be thinking of something special to treat them with. Yes, if seafood is topping your list of delicious meals then, why not try out a mushy dinner recipe with clams? They will simply love to hog on this super juicy meal.

Unlike prawns, lobsters and crabs, clams are relatively tender and offer a great taste from the seas. Yes, they bear a superior oceanic flavor and you will definitely swear to make them over and over again. Wow!! Sounds like you cant wait to prepare the clam meringues recipe.

This easy to cook recipe needs no extra special ingredients and will only squeeze some humble minutes from your schedule. So here are the ingredients; take a look:

A can of minced clams

Grated rind of a lemon

Stiff mayonnaise, 1/3rd cup

Lemon juice extracted from one lemon

Paprika

Salt for flavor

Egg whites separated from three eggs

Thinly sliced breads, 8

Now, comes the preparation; take a look:

Make sure the clams are well drained. Now, combine clams with mayonnaise and lemon rind and add in salt and paprika for taste. Set the mixture aside in a refrigerator while you prepare bread rounds.

Take a cookie cutter (2inch); make 3 cuts per slice of bread. Next arrange for 24 rounds and place them over cookie sheet. Put this cookie sheet under a broiler and leave the door of the broiler open. Make sure the bread rounds are well toasted in about a minute. Take them out as they turn brown. Make sure that only one side of them is toasted.

Beat egg whites and fold it inside the clam mixture and then, mount it on untoasted side of the bread rounds. Put them on the cookie sheet again and sprinkle some paprika. Put the rounds back again under the hot broiler. Leave the door of the broiler open. Make sure you stand by the pancake turner. The meringues will start to puff in about half a minute.

Pair this dish with an extravagant menu on lobster tails and you will find the difference.
