subject: My First International Journey [print this page] Hey friends, I belong to India, this was my first international journey. I was with my family, our vacation started from New Delhi, India followed by Kolkata, Malaysia and back to Andaman Nicobar, India. We have opted for a holiday package and believe me there is nothing better than a holiday package to spend your vacations.
It was July 2010; I with my parents and my younger brother started our journey from New Delhi International Airport. We were very much excited about the journey our flight was for Kolkata in the afternoon, we reached Kolkata in the evening it was too humid over there. We arrived at 19:00 hrs our cab driver was waiting for us with a printed paper in his hand with my fathers name. We got him and reached the hotel, though we were on a package tour, since we got a good hotel to stay in with all the essential amenities, I must say that was a very good hotel, I dont know its rating but I would rate it as at least 3 star hotel. We spent our next whole day in Kolkata and the next day in the morning we left for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. When we landed over the city the scene was awesome, we came out of the airport and again the cab driver was waiting for us, he took us to the hotel our first night stay was at Genting Highland. We can say it was kind of a hill station in Malaysia, the weather was mind blowing, and temperature was around 18 C. The hotel was a very huge hotel, it was multistoried as well as the buildings were interlinked with each other through a pathway. Next to our hotel was an amusement park which was the pride of the city named as Theme park. We enjoyed over there till afternoon after that me and my brother went to the casino; we played many games over there which includes Poker, Roulette etc. We stayed a night over there and next morning we left for Kuala Lumpur, the city was amazing which includes many museums, parks, chocolate factories, and last but not the least world famous Twin Towers. The hotel which was given to us in Kuala Lumpur was one of the best hotels I had ever stayed in. Next day we have to go for city sightseeing with the group at 10:00 Am, the breakfast was in the hotel as a buffet, we enjoyed the breakfast very much there were n numbers of dishes in the breakfast. And even there was a suggestions box was u can drop your suggestions about the breakfast and the stay in the hotel. And there was an option even if you dont want to go with the group, the hotel staff provided us the travelogues and even they provided us the Travel Tips for the tour, I must say people in Malaysia were too co-operative. After that we stayed in Malaysia for 4 days and our trip was really amazing.
Then on the seventh day of our journey we went back from Kuala Lumpur to Andaman Nicobar, India. But I must say even Andaman Nicobar is also a very good place to spend your vacations. There are many Budget hotels which are available over there according to your pocket. Having a stay over there for 2 days our journey ends by reaching to Delhi. I must say this was my best vacations which I had enjoyed with my family and the most memorable one.
