subject: How Ios6 Will Help The New Iphone 5 [print this page]

In order to remain the uncrowned king of smartphones, the new iPhone5 must possess exceptional features and deliver outstanding performance. For this reason the new iPhone 5 will be powered by the iOS6 operating system. It is also likely to be run by a quad core A6 processor based on Exynos 4Quad system chipset by Samsung. Incidentally the Exynos features in the main rival of iPhone 5, the Galaxy SIII. However it is the operating system which will make the real difference between the two devices.

The iOS6 is one of the most advanced and easy to use mobile operating systems and according to Apple it has reinvented the iPhone. It will make web browsing, e-mailing and downloading quick and convenient. It offers a deeper Facebook integration and features like accessing and sharing data and streaming photos will take place effortlessly. The new iPhone 5 will support 3G networks but it is the 4G LTE capabilities which are earning it winning points. 4G LTE capabilities have not only given a big boost to the speed and service of the new iPhone 5 but along with the powerful iOS6 operating system, the new phone will be able to use the FaceTime feature over both 3G and 4G cellular networks. To improve the FaceTime feature, the new iPhone 5 will have a new high definition front facing camera while the rear camera gets a wider aperture.

Making further use of the iOS6 potentials, Apple will now have Map apps in collaboration with Tom Tom imagery. The Map apps are quite comprehensive and contain turn by turn GPS, spoken commands and directions, traffic service (which alerts you of traffic congestions and suggests an alternate faster route) and the if rumors are true a possible 3D map.

Siri the virtual personal assistant has matured in the iPhone 5; it can now read notifications, open new apps, check movie schedules, inform you of the latest sport scores, find restaurants for you and make reservations and post Facebook and post tweets on Twitter for you. Siri is learning languages and will now assist users in German, Spanish, Italian and French. To capture the strong Chinese market, Siri on iPhone 5 will respond to Cantonese and Mandarin as well.

Another interesting feature of the upcoming iPhone 5 is the Passbook. With the Passbook feature, you will never lose your important travel documents as it transforms your iPhone 5 into a "digital wallet" and so gift cards, hotel reservations, tickets for various events, train tickets and boarding passes will easily be stored in your iPhone 5. As it is both time and location based, it automatically updates any changes in your traveling plans such as a change of platform etc.

Apple is counting a lot on the inclusion of Near Field Communication (NFC) in the iPhone 5. If included in the iPhone 5, the NFC will make mobile transactions possible letting you use your smartphone as a credit card.

With so many great things happening with the iPhone, why would you ever choose anything but an iPhone?
