This was made solely for the royal ladies so that they could see the glimpse of the bazaar. It was really the splendid attraction for them to see the market and the beauty of the pink city from Jal Mahal. One of the wonderful structures of the Jaipur city is the Amber fort and this splendid fort complex was built in the year 1592 and you have the amazing feel when you are in this fort.

The city palace complex in Jaipur is one of those places that travelers must visit upon reaching Jaipur. This palace includes two palaces called Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. Since this palace is located in the middle of Jaipur city, travelers can book a room in Jaipur hotels and save traveling time to great extent. Entry to the palace is open from Monday to Sunday between 10 AM to 5 PM and one needs to buy a ticket to enter here.

Amber Fort is one of the best attractions for tourists coming on a tour of Jaipur and attracts tourists from everywhere with its unrivalled interior architecture. The fort used to be a portion of a palace complex along with another famous fort known as Jaigarh. Amber Fort's construction commenced in the late 16th century and was completed during the reign of Raja Jai Singh I. Soaring above the waters of the serene Maotha Lake, this vast fort complex is surrounded by verdant greenery and sturdy fortification. The fort is said to be built from white and red sandstones and possesses a minimalist yet imposing facade.

The city of Jaipur is well connected by good network of roads to Delhi and other states of India. Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation's (RSRTC) buses ply to Delhi, 200 km from here, Haryana and many other states. The best time to visit Jaipur is from October to March.
