Door is used to control the physical atmosphere within a space by enclosing the air drafts, so that interiors may be more effectively heated or cooled. They also act as a barrier to noise and they are used to screen areas of a building for aesthetics, keeping formal and utility areas separate. There are different types of doors for the different places of the house. They are:

1.Interior Doors - Interior doors will are there to provide privacy within the house, and will help isolate the sound between the rooms. In houses with central heating or cooling systems, it is important to leave at least inch between the finish floors and the bottom of the doors to allow free air flow, another reason to have this space, is to prevent the friction when the door is opened or closed.

2.Exterior Doors - The main entrance adds a lot to the appearance of the house, because of the unique importance of front doors, the way they are constructed is different than the regular exterior door. Many details are added to the front door the make it special such as, door caps, exterior moldings and panels, windows or lights in or to the side of the door. Exterior doors can serve both as weather protectors and effective sound reducers.

3.Patio Doors - When selecting a patio/garden door, the most important factors to consider are insulation quality, secure locking system, weather tightness, and an attractive appearance. Sliding Security Doors include at least one fixed and one sliding panel. Some of the frame material options include fiberglass, vinyl, wood, or aluminum.

4.Storm Doors - Storm doors intended to provide protection from extreme weather and direct sunlight for your primary doors. Apart from that, they supply enhanced security, ventilation, and helping insulate your home better during summer and winter time.

5.Basement Doors - A Basement door should be wide, to allow large appliances and furniture go through it. It should be able to withstand the weather and provide security against theft effectively.

Different types of Windows There are various types and styles of windows available in the market. We have to choose a window according to the type of the room. The types are:

Awning Windows - Awning windows are designed to provide light and breeze. Retractable awnings are good for the areas that need to maintain privacy but still let some light in. Awnings can be opened slightly to allow ventilation. They can be positioned in a variety of places: next to other windows, arranged in columns, or placed above large patio doors in the form of Patio Awning to create a wall of light and fresh air.

Casement Windows - Casement windows open outward for light, fresh air and side breezes. They're tightly sealed for energy efficiency and great for hard-to-reach places, such as over sinks and appliances in the kitchen. Casements crank open, as opposed to sliding up and down, making them easier to maneuver.

Double Hung Windows - Double hung windows are chosen for their unique style, ease of access and superior ventilation capabilities. The top of the window can be opened while the bottom remains closed and so they are great for kids' rooms. These types of windows are perfect for kitchens, offices and bedrooms.

Hopper Windows - These types of windows are most often installed in basements. The hopper window is basically a casement window flipped on its side. The entire pane tilts inward to open, allowing for maximum ventilation.
