subject: How To Get Your Physics Homework Done [print this page]

I am in high school and my physics professor used to give us a lot of homework each week. Although its not a very enjoyable moment for me, but I have got enough experience in the past one year and completing my homework is not a pain anymore. I use following resources to finish off my homework.

1. Yahoo answers:

Its a great place to get fast, free and easy answers.

It has many drawbacks though. Since its free,

Free Online Physics Tutor so mostly retired or unemployed people answer here to kill their time. So you cant expect a quality answer in most of the cases.

Specially when you ask a tough question you can never get any help. I used it in the beginning but I stopped asking questions on yahoo answers because in one of my homework I got a pathetic 37% marks and all the answers were obtained from yahoo answers. So my advice is to use this site with utmost care. Since answers is given by people who are killing their time and have nothing to do, so you just can not depend on the quality of the answers. There are exceptions though, but in general its a very high risk option.

2. Physics forums: There are various physics forums where you can ask your questions and you will get immediate answers by experts. Some of the forums are really good but most of them have substandard level of moderation and you can even be sexually abused after asking a Gauss law based question. Good forums are rare, and the problem with them is that, you cant ask too many questions. They ban you immediately if you tend to use them to get your homework done. I was banned from many forums, for the same reason. I guess, they have IP trackers included in their software and if lot of activity is seen from a particular IP address, they simply block you for a particular number of hours.

3. Free demos at online tutoring companies: Many companies like myphysicsbuddy.com, tutordotcom, eduwizardsdotcom provide free demo session to their new students. I have personally used almost all of the sites where free demo is provided. I must say that the first site is the best in this regard. They are specialised site for physics and their online physics tutors and homework helpers are the best I have seen so far on internet. The drawback with myphysicsbuddy.com is their excellent software, which makes sure that same student could not get free demo again and again. They have IP tracker and question sensing software which immediately sense if the same student ask for a demo second. Changing name, and password etc will not save you from being identified by them. So do not even to try for a free demo second time.

4. Sites having large collection of questions with solutions: there is a huge number of sites where you can get the solution to your questions in their databse. But this option is good only for elementary level stuffs. Most of the professors frame the questions themselves and these sites do not have any solution to all fresh problems. By the time they upload solutions of your questions, your Homework deadline or the test deadline would already have been passed.

So whats the best option among these?

From my experience I can say that the time you waste on getting free help is not worth the small amount of money you save. Now I simply pay the best site (myphysicsbuddy for physics homework is my advice), and get all my homework done in fraction of a time. The solutions obtained by such sites can be trusted and in almost all Homework you can expect to get 100% marks.

From last 6 months I am using online physics tutors of myphysicsbuddy. Their charges are also very low. I tend to spend just $50 to $60 per month for all my homework with them. And the worst marks I have go with them till date is 90% in my 6th week assignment. I had tried some other tutoring sites in the past but they are way below in quality than this site.

So this is all my analysis. You can wisely choose whats best for you. All the best my friends. Have a great time.
