subject: Does Internet Marketing Seem Like Work To You? [print this page] There are people who work more than 10 hours a day on the Internet and do not make money. At the end of the day they may not even be complaining which is a little hard to believe.
There are people who work more than 10 hours a day in a job at a brick and mortar business. At the end of the day they know exactly how much they're going to make and they may not even be complaining which is a little hard to believe as well.
Here are a couple of things to consider.
1. A job can be work.
2. An Internet business can be work.
If you get up and dread going to work every day at a job that is work. If you get up every day and go to a job that you thoroughly enjoy it never seems like work.
The same thing is true with an Internet business. If you can hardly wait to sit down in front of your computer and start working it's never going to seem like work.
Internet marketing is work when you have to force yourself to sit down and do it. This is even worse if you are not making any money.
I would suggest that you use the Internet to your advantage and outsource everything you possibly can relating to your Internet business. If you really think of Internet marketing as work you can still make money from home and not work that many hours when you do it this way.
Do what you like best and outsource the rest. This is a good concept as it pertains to marketing on the Internet. Let me give you an example.
I really do not enjoy social networking on Facebook. I know there are people who hang out on Facebook all day long, and they may or may not really ever make money, but they have a lot of fun.
I do Internet marketing to make money. When I market online I want to spend my time doing things I enjoy. For me this is blogging, article marketing, forum marketing, and so on.
I can hire people to do different things within the social media arena. As an example, I don't particularly like to make videos, but I understand the importance of having them on You Tube, so I outsourcce that
Internet marketing becomes work when you do things you don't like to do. Initially if you don't have the budget to outsource you may have to do some things to jumpstart your business that you do not enjoy. As an end game having a goal of outsourcing is a good way to focus on what you enjoy and keeping Internet marketing fun
