Crusher hammers and some Kind tips about choosing the crusher hammers

As we all know, when the clients purchase the crusher hammers, they will take many factors into consideration. And they will ask: which crusher hammers are more wear-resistant? Which crusher hammers will last a longer service life? Which material crusher hammers are more wear-resistant? Here, Zhengzhou Dingsheng would like to share some types of crusher hammers with you from their material and casting process.

Crusher hammers classification

(1) High-manganese steel crusher hammers

Today, the crusher hammers mainly apply high-manganese steel material in China, but the wear-resistance is not so high, so the crusher hammers have to be replaced in a short period. In common cases, the service life of limestone crusher hammers can last 60-90d. And in some special cases, they just can last 7d. While, in fact, since the crusher hammers need not burden too strong impact forces when the crusher works, so the processing hardening effects of high -manganese steel crusher hammers are not so obvious. For Cr(Chrome) element plays an important role in strengthening the austenite and improving the steel hardness, strength and wear-resistance, so adding Cr(chrome) element into the high-manganese steel can greatly strengthen the crusher hammers. When these crusher hammers are used to crush iron ore and other harder stones, the service life of these crusher hammers can improve 50% than the traditional high-manganese steel crusher hammers.

(2) Composite crusher hammers

The traditional high-manganese steel crusher hammers have poor wear-resistance, short service life and large quantities of raw materials consumption. In order to solve these problems, we respectively produce the hammer handle and the hammer end. The hammer handle applies the high-manganese steel or carbon steel, which ensures that it has sufficient strength and toughness. However, the hammer end applies the high chromium casting iron material to produce. The high chromium casting iron is a kind of excellent wear-resistant material, so the hammer end will have sufficient abrasion-resistance. At the same time, for the high chromium casting iron has low toughness and is easily broken, so the hammer handle selects the high toughness high -manganese steel or carbon steel to overcome the shortcomings of a single material. And the practice shows that its service life improves over twice than the traditional high-manganese steel clinker crusher hammers in the cement clinker crushing in cement industry. In addition, we also produce white iron casting crusher hammers. And the tests show that, when we need to crush the albite whose Mohs hardness is 6.5, its service life is three times longer than the high-manganese steel crusher hammers. From the analysis above, we know that these two kinds of composite crusher hammers both can meet the performance requirements.

(3) Low-alloy steel crusher hammersIn fact, although the composite crusher hammers have longer service life, the casting and heating technical process are very complex. So, we developed the low-alloy steel crusher hammers after a long period of research. The 40CrMnSiMoRe contains a little steel alloy element, and it also features low cost and simple technical process. We can gain the required machinery strength only through a heating treatment. After an analysis of the crusher hammers working condition and a test on the crushers, it proved that this type of crusher hammers reached every performance standard and can be excellent crusher hammers.

Some Kind tips about choosing the crusher hammers:

Zhengzhou Dingsheng warns our clients: when we purchase the crusher hammers or clinker crusher hammers, we should choose the right manufacturer to avoid being cheated by the small factories. Only in this way, can we purchase the highest quality crusher hammers and achieve the largest profits. Of course, the crusher hammers also will have a longer service life.
