Since lighting manufacturers know and understand the modern person's mindset when it comes to interior design, they have made the light fixtures themselves appealing to the eye. This makes a lot of sense; who wants to install an old-fashioned lamp into an apartment complex or house that was built in the last five to ten years? Doing that would look very much out of place, especially if the interior design and dcor is in line with the rest of the building. So, it is not only the reasons for using modern lighting has changed, but the light lighting fixtures themselves.
