subject: What Causes Cellulite? - The Best Cellulite Exercises [print this page] I don't know about you but I've often wondered what causes cellulite? I can't stand the sight of it, that much is for sure, but the thought of liposuction just to reduce it scares the hell out of me! Sure, I'd love for it to magically disappear. But I'm sure nothing in life is that easy right? So, I wonder if I put in a bit of effort, eat healthy feed and exercise, will my cellulite disappear? Oh, and did I mention I don't want to do any hard out cellulite exercises?
That brings me to look for an easier option; I wonder what the best cellulite cream on the market is? And do they really work? If we look at what causes cellulite, maybe we can figure out a cream that will simply melt it away for us instead of having to do special cellulite exercises?
Doing a bit of research reveals that most women who've been through puberty have cellulite to some degree. So it comes as no surprise to learn that hormones play a huge role in the formation of cellulite. That's why it's us ladies who suffer from it and generally not men. Oestrogen, insulin, adrenaline, and thyroid hormones all contribute to the lumpy thighs and bums we all hate[1].
As if hormones aren't bad enough, what causes cellulite is not just one simple thing. A change in our metabolism, as we age, is another big factor. We age, muscle tone decreases, and so our metabolism slows down and we burn less fat. That means the pockets of fat surrounding the typically high cellulite areas actually make our cellulite look worse. Oh no!
And did you know that even things such as stress can cause cellulite? Or at least make it worse? Yes, your lifestyle has a lot to do with it. In our world of too much coffee, sodas, sugar, alcohol and processed foods and not enough quality fresh fruit and vegetables, toxic livers are very common. Leading to even more lumpy cellulite.
Based on the above points, I can't see how it's even possible for a cellulite cream to help with cellulite reduction or cellulite removal. Based on what causes cellulite, most of the contributing factors are internal, so there really is no point wasting money on expensive cellulite treatments that just don't address the real causes.
I guess that brings us back to what are the best anti cellulite exercises? What we need is a system to follow to eliminate stubborn cellulite, transform flabby bits into firm bits and maybe even enjoy doing it. Preferably, all naturally, inexpensively and easily! Well, I know that sounds a lot safer than liposuction and heaps cheaper than wasting money on cellulite creams. I'm sure there's something out there that will help all us girls be cellulite free in no time.
