Dynamics GP or how it was formerly known Great Plains is not localized in RF. There are several blends of add-ons where Russian language is translated on the fly but it doesnt mean that Russian Tax Agency reporting is covered
If you are committed to GP platform worldwide then we recommend the following approach
1.In Modifier translated string resources from English into Russian
2.Distribute FORMS.DIC file to Russian users
3.Establish GL entries export and import into 1S Bukhgalteria (1C Accounting). In 1C you should be able to print annual and quarterly reporting to Tax Agency as well as salary and payment to funds
Q. Can we find Russian speaking Great Plains consultant in Moscow?
A. It might be challenging as Great Plains is not something that could support consulting career in that country. Our GP consultant and Certified Master Andrew Karasev is native Russian and he has dual residency in St Joseph MI and Krasnogorsk (Moscow suburbs) Russia. Q. If we feel that it is better idea to pick another application for our Siberian mining facility what would you recommend?
A. It depends on the priorities. If you think that the main one is tax agency reporting then you should consider 1C. On the other hand if you need ERP accounting and control and would like the system with brand name and Russian interface then we would recommend you SAP Business One
Q. Is it possible to print tax agency reports directly from GP?
A. We do not recommend this approach as legislation is in constant change. If you have experienced accountant consider either 1C or preparing statements in Excel
Q. We are planning to deploy RF company here on our SQL Server hosted in Toronto and open it via Citrix. What is your opinion on that?
