Dan Spiegel, the executive vice president of operations for Colliers International in the United States said that, "There is a significant growth opportunity for Colliers not only in Alabama, but also in the southeast region. The new office will gain the expertise of Birmingham-based Sadner Commercial Real Estate. The firm specializes in office and industrial real estate with its staff of commercial real estate brokerage experts and property management professionals. They will join Colliers Internationals 12,300 professionals working out of 522 offices in 62 countries. Sandner will grow its service offerings and improve assistance of its clientele in Alabama, the southeast region of the United States, and eventually, all over the world.

In 2011, Sadners's Birmingham-area real estate brokers finished approximately 91 transactions, creating more than $109 million in transactions. Daily, Sandners property management division oversees a portfolio of 1.6 million square feet of office space, retail, and industrial facilities across Alabama, catering to more than 148 tenants. Currently, the firm offers tenant representation, project leasing, property management, brokerage/investment sales and acquisitions, and investment advisory.
