subject: Review: Top Computer Games [print this page]

There are many computer games reviews online that are based on what gamers think about the games and how many gamers are really finishing it. The review below is based on the computer games' plot, difficulty and graphics.

Here are some of the best games:

1. Big Kahuna Reef 3 - Big Kahuna Reef 3 is the 3rd installment of the most popular match-3 games. Enjoy matching puzzles and get new power-ups that give extra boost for the next level. You can also build and design your own reef. There are extra mini games to enjoy with. Players can also choose from relaxed and timed mode in playing the puzzles. Big Kahuna Reef 3 is comparable to the first two editions.

2. Mystic Diary: Missing Pages - This is the 3rd edition of the Mystic Diary series. You have to stop a wicked magician from becoming immortal. You get to follow cryptic clues and avoid traps, save your magician brother from building an evil machine to gain immortality. The game is average and the storyline is simple. The graphics are all right and the puzzles are not too difficult. Though this game might disappoint advanced players, its storyline and flow is entertaining enough to hold most gamers interest.

3. Shaban - Shaban is a shepherd happily living with his sheep and goats. His land was invaded by thieves, who stole all of his sheep. Shaban went to seek his lost sheep and, on his way, found an adventure. The story is entertaining with is comic strip style storyline. Help Shalban rescue his sheep and solve puzzles - logical and environmental. The graphics and sound effects are good and the instructions were direct to the point. A hint option is available if needed too. However, the game is quite short and can be finished in a day. Other than that, Shalban is a cute adventure game that is enjoyable.

4. Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen - This is a role playing game were you solve the mystery of your father's death and your brother's strange disappearance. Look for clues about the past of your father (who was a famous movie director). Choose between easy or hard mode. Hints are available in the easy mode. Puzzles can also be skipped in easy mode. This game is challenging enough to grab attention and seems fairly long, which is well worth buying.

5. Katy and Bob: Way Back Home - Katy and Bob needs to earn some cash needed to come back home to their father. They are both spoiled and were exiled to an island to learn the value of work. This time-management game is charming and stress relieving. Mix cocktails and serve them to guest. New menu items and quotas are set per level to add that extra challenge as you progress. This is very similar to the famous Diner Dash game where it is time limited. The graphics and sound effects are great. Though this is not an advance game level, Katy and Bob is a fun and challenging game.
