This simple app lets you create the budgeted entries for your income and expenses including but not limited to housing, food, transportation, clothes, healthcare, entertainment, contributions, debt payments and their sub-categories, on a monthly and yearly basis. Set goals for managing your budget on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, and keep a track of your progress. You can locally save and email the details on your family income, expense, savings, and goals. The features within Home budget are well integrated. Once you pay a bill it automatically becomes an expense and the account balance is adjusted at the same time.
The home screen includes a summary of your expense, bills, income, and budget ( http://www.handster.com/product-review.php?id=234 ) for the current month, and accounts balance. The home screen consists of 8 application screens, which can be reached by tapping the menu items. The applications are: Expenses, Bills, Income, Budget, Accounts, Payees, Reports, and Search. Tapping on the expenses menu takes you to the expenses screen where you can add, modify or delete expense entries. You can view monthly expenses by category or date, and also drill down to specific expense entries. Categories include: Home/Rent, Utilities, Food/groceries, etc. To modify or delete an expense entry, tap the arrow button next to an expense entry. The budget screen allows you to set budget amounts for various categories and subcategories. The accounts screen lets you create accounts such as checking, savings, credit, and cash accounts. You can view a trend graph of your expense and income for the last 12 months in the reports screen. From this screen you can export your expense data by email or via Wifi to your home computer.
The Search screen allows you to search among your expenses.
