PODS containers: how theyre moved
When you see the PODS delivery truck, youll see the patented hydraulic lift system. Its designed specifically to reduce the shifting that your packages go through. Its going to securely transport the PODS to wherever youre going. Our truck drivers are also extremely careful with your contents, making sure to place special emphasis on getting it where youre going in top notch.
Loading and Unloading the PODS
PODS give you as much time as you need to pack and unpack. Without being burdened with deadlines or any kind of time frames, you can just enjoy your leisurely move. That means that if you have to take more time to make sure your things are packed correctly, you dont have to worry about being hassled. This is the chance for you to get the stress free move that you deserve after all.
What about weekend pick-up and deliveries?
Knowing that your life doesnt stop on a weekend, PODS operates six days a week; in some places, even seven. If we cant pick it up at some point during the weekend, you can keep it at your location until we can. However, local ordinances may be worth looking into. If youre not sure if there are regulations preventing pickups or drop offs at certain times, then just get into contact with a local authority. Theyll be happy to let you know.
What kind of Clearance do you need?
Make sure that there is a 12 foot wide by 15 foot high clearance somewhere on the property that is free of wires, branches, and isnt a steep incline. Sometimes, its better to make it a little extra on each side. After all, thats your stuff! Its better to have much room than not enough.
Should I be there at Delivery?
It isnt necessary to be there at delivery of your POD but we surely do recommend it if its possible. Since we pick up and drop off after 7 am local time, we can work around your schedule if necessary. You are going to be in charge of making sure the POD gets dropped off where you need it and of making sure that we have the clearance room necessary.
