Aside from this, the manner people awkwardly hold their mobile phones in order to look aftter other activities has ended in countless accidents. Mobile phone-related mishaps are reported every week and they're all because of people texting, having to locate their cellphones to answer calls while they're driving, or failing to securely grasp the mobile phone between the ear and shoulder. Due to these issues that cellular phone makers began including phone headsets in their kits. It's still important to remember though that although these headsets free the hands for full control of the wheel while driving, it's still not recommended to speak on the phone while driving.

Now, as an effective way of soothing neck discomfort, phone headsets have no therapeutic claims whatsoever. Generally, how they work is stop people from cradling the phone between their shoulder and jaw so their hands can focus on whatever they are doing. Actually, hand phones may not be that heavy, but they still have some weight and they heat up after extended use, especially since they are used as music players as well. The more suitable way of utilizing them without causing any strain on the body is to store them in the pocket or bag and get phone calls or listen to audio using a light headset. This will not only free the hands, but it also won't trigger pressure on the neck, which can cause migraines, backaches and other pains.
