subject: Hyundai Elantra India Launch, Two Weeks To Go [print this page]

Hyundai Elantra India launch is definitely going to heat up things in the D segment. What everybody is looking out for, is the new Hyundai Elantra price in India which could turn the game for the luxury sedan in the domestic market. Some of the other luxury saloons that have recently received upgrades are Chevrolet"s Cruze sedan and Renault Fluence sedan.

The D segment has seen good growth in the last one year, here we are going to compare the three new rivals in this segment which includes, soon to be launched Hyundai Elantra and recently launched revamped versions of Chevrolet Cruze and Renault Fluence.Hyundai Elantra 2012 which will soon join the bandwagon will come with the fluidic design that has can be seen in most of the Hyundai cars in India. Hyundai Verna sedan is a good example of this design as it makes the sedan look much better in looks. On the other hand not many changes can be seen on Chevrolet Cruze sedan however, Fluence has a tinge of French beauty and looks every bit smashing.

On the interiors front, Cruze is capacious and the all black look renders a premium look to the sedan. However, it also makes one feel a little suffocated because of interiors done in all black. But ample cabin space balances everything and renders the sedan a comfortable look. Interiors of Renault Fluence however might look a little cluttered to a beginner but after using it for a while one becomes very familiar with it.Talking about the new Hyundai Elantra interiors which are done in dual tone, it is much roomier and gives a fresh feel while you step inside the sedan. The longer wheelbase renders more space to the rear passengers, therefore going on long drives or long journey would not be tiring.

Hyundai Elantra India launch is extremely crucial for the South Korean auto maker as this is going to be the second innings for the luxury saloon in the D segment. Therefore the automaker is more conscious this time and would want the sedan to hit the bull"s eye. Hyundai failed to create any magic in the D segment and hence has launched again both its luxury saloons in the domestic market again. With this segment gaining immense popularity in the last one year despite the slowdown, it seems that Hyundai Elantra stands a good chance here. However, a lot will depend on the Hyundai Elantra price in India which would eventually decide the fate of the saloon in India.

The launch of the sedan is slated for August 13, 2012 which is approximately only two weeks to go. All the speculations regarding the sedan will finally end with the launch. We hope that Hyundai manages to gain good market share in this segment with new Hyundai Elantra Fluidic so that in future we get to see more from the South Korean auto maker in the future. Hyundai"s other cars that have embraced success after being bestowed with the fluidic design include, Hyundai Verna fluidic, Hyundai i20, Hyundai Eon and Hyundai Sonata .
