subject: The Perfect Lighting Options [print this page] My husband and I recently bought a new property, which does need a little bit of work doing to it. It"s nothing major and it shouldn"t take too long to complete but thankfully my family said they"d help out so that not only can we spend quality time together but also that the job can be done quicker. I"m very grateful for the extra pair of hands but at the same time by dad can be very clumsy and he can cause more harm than good, although he"d be upset to think that"s what he would be doing.
I needed to hire a few things so that we could complete the job as professionally as possible as although we"re working on a budget and I can"t afford to get professionals in to complete the job I still want it to look good. When the hire company mentioned self righting work lights I thought they"d be perfect for us. Self righting work lights are attached to a round weight so even if they"re knocked when workmen are in the area they"ll right themselves and can"t be knocked over which sounds perfect for my dad. We"re going to be working through the evenings but I don"t want to be constantly holding my breath because I"m worried he"ll be knocking them over.
The electric hasn"t been completed so at present we often get no lighting which means we"re walking around with candles which isn"t ideal if you"re trying to work so I thought that fail safe lighting hire would also be a good idea as they can run up to 3 hours after the electric has cut out which hopefully is enough time before it comes back on again. I"d never heard of fail safe lighting hire before but it"s a good idea.
I"m hoping with all the correct kit I"ve hired that we"ll have a good enough finish on everything and I won"t be disappointed. There is nothing worse than working really hard on something and still not being happy with the outcome. Hopefully we"ll have good family fun and not be annoyed with each other by the end of it.
