Because now most of smartphones have not got android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) yet, android jelly bean would be a great attraction for users. For now, Googles Nexus 7 tablet is the only device that has got Jelly Beans.
HTC told Engadget that they could comfirm that they have plans to upgrade HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean, because they knew htc fans would be excited to get their hands on Googles latest version of android. Although HTC One X serial is excellent with 4.7-inch HD screen and powerful specs, its been over shined by Samsungs Galaxy S III. Because when Samsung galaxy s III was launched with five U.S. carriers after debuting in 28 other countries, htc one x was being hold and delayed by US customs over patent issues with Apple. Now android jelly beans are HTCs chance to fight back. And it is for sure that Samsung would not be let out of jelly beans much long, so HTC may need to fight harder.
Besides the powerful specs and latest android os, maybe htc also needs to pay some attention on htc accessories. The battles of smartphone world are fiercer in every aspects. Smartphone producers are trying to attract users with different ways, including high specs, designs, os, apps and accessories. For htc, it should pay some attention on accessories especially like htc one x cases or cables etc, to make its smartphone better.
