Serves : 2 people
Ingredients:
3 cups Boiled Rice
2 1/2 cup shredded Cabbage
1 tsp Coriander powder
3 tsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
3 tsp Raw Peanuts
5 to 6 Curry Leaves
pinch of Hing
2 tsp chopped Garlic
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
2 tsp Lemon Juice
Curry patta
Method:
1) Heat oil in a pan, add peanuts add fry till it gets light brown color. Take out peanuts in to separate bowl.
2) Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, pinch of asafoetida, curry leaves, chopped garlic and saut till garlic gets nice golden color.
3) Add turmeric powder, shredded cabbage mix it well, sprinkle some salt to taste.
4) Add coriander powder, red chili powder, cover the top and cook for 5 to 6 mts.
5) Add boiled rice, add some lemon juice, mix, cover and cook for 5 mts on low heat.
6) Garnish it with coriander leaves, curry patta and fried peanuts.
Tips:
1) You can add more veggies in the rice like spring onion, cauliflower, Paneer, beans or peas for more taste.
