subject: The Perks Of Sending Out Laundry [print this page]

Increasingly people are turning to commercial laundry services to get their clothing clean, and with good reason. The perks are numerous; cleaner clothes, time and money saved, convenience and ease are just some of the reasons people are making the switch. Are you still washing your own clothing? Make the switch to see how much better employing a laundry service is.

One of the main reasons to send your laundry out is to save time. Commercial laundry services make their money cleaning clothes. That means they can do it cheaply and more quickly than you can. Think of the time it takes to gather your clothing, go the Laundromat, do your wash, dry your wash, fold it and take it home. You may think you are saving money but that is a fallacy. If you spent the same amount of time doing laundry as you do at work, you will make more than enough money to send your laundry out and then some. From a time and money point of view laundry services just makes sense.

Another reason to send your clothes to a laundry service is the quality of the wash. As I mentioned before, a laundry service is an efficient business. They have more experience cleaning clothing than you do. They can deal with the toughest stains, one you cannot remove. They know exactly how to care for all the fibers in your wardrobe so you do not need to worry about accidentally shrinking that cashmere sweater or burning the wool scarf in the dryer.

Even if you are picky, a laundry pick up service can accommodate you. Most offer things like organic detergents, folding and packing options, and all sorts of other great services. You can have your laundry done the way you want without having to do it yourself. Many also offer additional services like shoe and garment repair. This saves you even more time by letting you avoid trips to a cobbler or seamstress.

Now that it is summer, do you really want to be lugging your laundry around? If it builds up you may have to make two trips. How annoying is that? You have better things to do with your time. Besides can you leave the Laundromat while you still have clothing being washed? You may return to find that someone has ungraciously helped themselves to every high end item in your wardrobe. That is something that will really cost you!
