subject: Avicii Tickets - Le7els Tour Continues Despite Cancelled Shows [print this page] Despite having a few cancelled shows, the Le7els Tour continues on with special guest Avicii jumping on since May. Avicii may go by a few different names - Tim Berg, Ashwin, Tom Hangs, and his real name, Tim Bergling - but there is one thing he is known for around the world: His music. A Swedish record producer, remixer, and most famously a DJ, Avicii has established himself in the electronic dance music world with a string of hits since he broke through in the music business. In 2011, Avicii ranked in at number six on DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs - a big feat for any DJ in the business. Not only is Avicii touring in support of his album, but he is also touring in support of electronic dance music as a whole. Throughout his own tour and the Le7els Tour, Avicii tickets have sold exceptionally well. Now that the show is continuing to hit the road in numerous cities, those tickets are sure to skyrocket.
A Quick Rise to Fame for Avicii
Born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1989, Tim Bergling emerged in the music industry early on in life. It didn't take long for people to discover his skills as not only a DJ but an expert remixer. At only 18, Avicii was remixing various well-known sounds and compiling a list in the hopes of getting discovered. Most famously, Avicii took the Lazy Jones (from the Commodore 64 gaming system) video game theme song remixed it and called the song "Lazy Lace" which ultimately became his first Strike Recordings release.
Before long, Avicii released "Don't Hold Back" while working with DJ John Dahlback, another Swedish up-and-coming DJ. With a couple of successes already behind him, Avicii started working on projects with other well-known DJs such as Sebastian Ingrosso and DJ Tiesto. And although Avicii works mostly with synthetic tracks, "Seek Bromance," a vocal version of the famed "Bromance" by Avicii was released by EMI. Throughout this time, Avicii not only collaborated with other artists, but was releasing his own music and changing the way people thought of electronic dance music.
One of the songs that pushed his career way forward was "Sunshine" on which he worked with David Guetta. In the Best Dance Recording category in the Grammys, the song was nominated, making Avicii even more well-known around the world. The thing that makes Avicii such a great artist is that his music moves beyond just England, Sweden, and the US, but moves people in countries like India, Bosnia, Croatia, Germany, and so many more around the world.
Avicii claims that his biggest musical influences happen to be Eric Prydz and the Swedish House Mafia, among many others, since they got him into house music in the first place. Although he is a famed DJ, Avicii has only released one mixed album, "Avicii presents Strictly Miami," and one extended play album, "The Singles - EP." Most of his music consists of singles and collaborations with other artists. He is currently on tour to support dance music everywhere and has been rocking the stages of every Le7els Tour stage he hits.
