Being warm and caring personality Princess Diana has earned herself world-wide recognition. She was extremely loved and honored by the whole nation. She gave birth to the future king of Britain and was socially active her whole life.

Born on the July 1 Diana was a third child in a family. She grew up in a privileged and respected family. They were known for their good relations with the royal family. The divorce of Dianas parents was pretty painful for her and left a scar. Maybe this fact became one of the main lifetime events that formed her caring personality. She has never been an outstanding student during her studies but she always helped kids and worked with children.

Princes Charles and Diana started dating in 1980s. When Charles was in his early 30s he started looking for a wife. Diana seemed to be a perfect choice thanks to her reputation and excellent family background. They were dating for a year and after that got married in a Buckingham Palace in February. The whole world was watching them mesmerized by their fairytale romance. About 750 million of people were sitting at their homes watching the royal wedding. It was the wedding of the decade. It was impossible not to notice the hint of jealousy in the eyes of young women. About 3 500 people attended it.

As it is very often said after the wedding the fairytale ends. The marriage of Diana and Charles is a great example of it. In a year after their wedding she gave birth to their first child William Arthur Philip. In two years Henry Charles Albert David was born.

She quickly managed to gain the love of the public and became an icon of love and appreciation. She became one of the top famous English people. But what is sad is that by the time her second son was born her marriage was already not that perfect as it seemed. Being exhausted and overwhelmed by being a mother, a princess and always under pressure by media. She suffered from depression and even made several suicide attempts; cut herself on legs and arms.

Being extremely loved by people she was followed by media everywhere. She became one of the most photographed women. She tried to find her place in life and started to help people with AIDS.

Charles was unprepared to her success in the media and such a self-destructive behavior. Their divorce was announced in 1992. After divorce she had to give up the title and got $ 28 million and $600,000 per year.

Her death in 1997 in the tunnel in Paris was a shock to the whole world. Her boyfriend and she were trying to escape from paparazzi. The cause of her death is still a subject for discussions and disputes.
