subject: Jason Aldean Tickets - Country Singer Wins Big At 2012 Cmt Awards [print this page]

Since he released "Amarillo Sky" in 2007, Jason Aldean has exercised considerable control over Billboard's country music charts, releasing seven number one singles and four successful albums. Through the summer of 2012, Jason Aldean tickets remain a hot item as the singer completes his two-year long My Kinda Party tour, but Aldean is currently celebrating another achievement: he won his first CMT country music award.

At the 2012 CMT music awards, Aldean won the Best Performance award for playing "Tattoos on This Town" on the network late last year. The award is a testament to Aldean's tremendous ability to perform live.

Fans have one more chance to catch Aldean before he heads back into the studio to complete his new album. On the My Kinda Party tour, Aldean has delighted fans across the country while promoting singles like "Fly Over States," "Don't You Wanna Stay" and the infectious, inescapable "Dirt Road Anthem." Aldean typically records an album of new music every two years, and coming off of the success of 2010's My Kinda Party, the singer started preparing his next effort in November of 2011.

In the meantime, Aldean will continue to focus on his My Kinda Party album, which topped Billboard's country albums chart for 12 nonconsecutive weeks and earned a two-time platinum certification from the RIAA. The album showed a comfortable, confident and mature Aldean experimenting with styles. He even included some elements of rap in "Dirt Road Anthem," stretching the boundaries of traditional country music without alienating his fans. Aldean has always been an unconventional voice in country music, which has helped him adapt and stay on top of the charts.

Aldean also has a reputation as one of country music's strongest live performers, especially after winning the Best Performance CMT award. In his concerts, he regularly plays past the hour mark, giving fans a varied set list of hits, deep cuts and even a few covers.

While his band is as musically talented and tight as any Nashville honky-tonk band, critics often note that Aldean's enthusiasm and energy carries his shows. With his trademark black hat, Aldean draws a lot of influence from acts like Waylon Jennings and other outlaw country stars, and he is never afraid to pack his shows with electricity and rock-influenced tunes like "Drinkin' Beer and Wastin' Bullets."

His 2012 tour includes contributions from opening acts like Luke Bryan and Lauren Alaina. Over the past several years, Aldean has also hit the road with Uncle Kracker, Chris Young and Lady Antebellum.

Aldean has already sold out many of the dates on his summer tour. He will play major venues, including stadiums and amphitheaters, to give hundreds of thousands of his fans an amazing, exhilarating show. Unlike many country stars, Aldean's touring band also plays on his albums. Both the band and the singer are extremely comfortable with their material, and every show has an incredible set list. Aldean is one of the biggest stars in country music, and he always gives his fans a good reason to see his energetic live act.
