subject: Great Underwater And Landscape Photograhs [print this page]

This is an awesome site for underwater photographs by Steven W Smeltzer. When reviewing the quantity of photographers on the web today it is demanding to come across photography that capture the mind's eye. Steven W Smeltzer offers a a large variety of images to choose from and the costs are relatively reasonable. Irrespective of whether you are in the market for stock photos or images for private use this is certainly an artist to take into account.

I love artwork devoted to nature and wildlife and this photographer definitely stands above the rest. When you are looking for pictures you will find him ranked very well across a variety of different categories. I particularly like his marine photography and landscapes. One of several key objectives that Smeltzer provides on his site is to help people get "into the picture". I really believe he does exactly that through the imaages that he has created. While a quantity of photos are straightforward, e.g., a image of a fish or historical image or a landscape photograph they stir an emotion and flavor which I view as natural, inviting and emotional.

I fancy a number of of the wreck diving photography, particularly the images of the USS Kittiwake along with the "Morning Crew" a image of an early morning two man rowing crew practicing on Lake Zurich. Have you ever been to Hawaii for whale watching? Or if you are a scuba diver have you traveled to Molokai? I feel from contemplating artwork from this new artist that I have been in those places and it is simply wonderful. There are a tremendous range of photographs so review carefully and let yourself go as you reflect on and ponder the images that Smelter has created.

You mightalso look at the short film that he created on scuba diving with Manta Rays in Hawaii. The video is very compelling and causes me to want to begin diving myself. The images, video segments and music go well together and although a little rough around the edges delivers that unfiltered feeling of this amazing dive. Take a look at the photography on his site, as his work will definitely be getting significantly higher fees sometime soon.
