For directions, for the phone number of a cute guy, for the contact information for a good work connection when you've forgotten your business cards or ran out. Or what about a busy secretary that gives you info at lightning speed then hangs up! And there there is just the issue of remember at odd times of the day that you need to do something later, and having no way to remember it.
Sewing Kit
Because if just the wrong button pops off, you have an inappropriate blouse situation in the office. Or, possibly you get a small hole in your skirt while you're on the best first date of your life.
