subject: Avoid These Mistakes With Your Seo Company-los Angeles [print this page]

You can't optimize your partnership with Los Angeles SEO companies if you have no intention of following through with the recommendations. There are bad SEO vendors but there are also bad clients. Here are just some of the mistakes you should avoid if you are going to have a chance of succeeding with your campaign.

Lie to your SEO provider

If you are going to bring a specialist in, you must be prepared for full disclosure. Admittedly, however, this could be a result of the IT department's resentment toward the "new guys" coming in and (in their minds, at least) telling everybody what to do. An SEO company would be the first to tell you how frustrating it is to be working on a project for a few months only to be told later that you are also working with two or three others on the same project. Or that you have already worked with an SEO vendor in the past which didn't go anywhere. It makes no sense to hire another one for redundant work.

Act superior and think that you are better than them

This is one of the most common complaints with SEO providers and also the most understandable. The success of large corporations didn't happen overnight, and most of these CEOs built their businesses from scratch by relying on their skills and a lot of daring. But when you are hostile toward making any changes to your website design or content, while propping up the expertise of your own IT department, you might as well forget about employing the services of SEO companies. By the way, if your IT department is as good as you make it sound, why are you not ranking well with your site?

Set unrealistic expectations

As an offshoot to the above paragraph, having a recognizable brand doesn't automatically translate to high page rankings. The spiders' sent by search engines to tag and index your site is not impressed by your brand. They are more interested in how many are linking and how much time visitors spend on your site, or if they can find your site at all. Imagine, there are millions of websites in your own industry, how can you expect these spiders' to crawl to your site without putting up some markers or signboards? By the way, the timeline for ROI (return of investment) vary from company to company. If you have a solid business model and you work with an experienced Los Angeles SEO companies, the chance of gaining profits is very high.
