You need to preheat the oven to 230 degrees centigrade. In a bowl, pour in the sugar and flour. Mix thoroughly before sprinkling the pastry over the mixture. Add butter on top and cover. Place the bowl on the ovens lowest rack and bake for about fifteen minutes after which you need to reduce temperature to about 175 degrees centigrade. Bake for another forty five minutes. Your pie will be ready and you can serve it either cold or warm.
