subject: Healthy Details On Reducing Your Tummy Fat For Good [print this page] Could tummy fat be stopping you from obtaining the figure of your dreams? The thing is the majority of us do have some excess doughnuts around our waists, but really why is it so hard to get rid of it.
Which leads me down the path of explaining how to reduce tummy fat and banish it for good. My routine I thought was not bad at all, although I had been training for a number of years without any significant results. But for some reason no matter how hard I trained I just could not shift the fat around my waist. Rocky III was such a good film and gives you the eye of the tiger and I started boxing, but this again would not shift it. I just sat down after that with a glum look on my face and looked at re evaluating where I was going wrong.
I was just like everyone else really, doing some weights and lots of cardio. Which is what I think most people do when they start at the gym. Obviously after all this however something was definitely wrong. This lead me onto digging deep into my packets to get a personal trainer, who could help me get rid of the belly fat. My I was definitely surprised by what he said and did. He weighed me and although I had reduced my weight overall. To my surprise however my body fat just had not come down at all.
Then I embarked on a five day training session with two days off. He wanted to tire my muscle out so proposed doing primary exercises followed straight away by secondary exercises. My cardio then changed to short bursts instead. Before however I was using the cross trainer or the running machine for twenty minutes. This was exceptionally hard to do. Then after a full session of the weights I would get on the rowing machine. I rowed for four minutes to start with, then he would throw the intensity up and make me do 1000m as fast as I possible could. I know that sounds really easy, but when you do it yourself it is really really hard.
Then I got straight onto the bike for six minutes. Then after the six minutes was up. It was time to step up the pace, doing fast sprints of seconds at a time, until I couldn't move my legs anymore. Well I can tell you I walked away from the gym every day with legs like jelly. I am sure that you have felt like this before too.
A few weeks went by and I had to jump on the scales yet again and also do a full fitness test. The fitness test went well but my body fat had hardly moved at all. I was happy that my overall weight had gone down, but I still wasn't happy.
It really was a move back to the drawing board yet again. I felt really down about it to be honest. Motivation is key, if your not getting results it is so easy to get yourself down. It felt like it was time to just throw in the towel to be honest, especially seeing how I had spent all that money as well. As the trainer was a former ex army PT Officer however, he thought that I would benefit by looking into my diet plans instead. I was really impressed with my diet though, so did not think it was a problem. I always cooked fresh food every day and thought I was healthy.
One thing he did find was that I was not drinking anywhere near enough water. Just like me too as I love tea and was drinking far too much of it, especially with a couple of sugars a go. My new meal plan then consisted of fresh veg and chicken all the time. Working my butt off I kept on training and guess what results I got this time? Ha ha ha yes you guessed it at last my tummy fat was starting to get lower. I can't tell you how happy I was, I even thought I off giving him a hug for it. Mmmm maybe not a good idea considering he was an ex army PT Officer. The morale to this story is. If your going to do something, don't waste any time doing it.
