It is this very technology that has made our lives much comfortable than ever. There are several ways in which technology has changed our lives. Transportation: We have travelled a long distance from the invention of wheel to the successful launch of PSLVs and this journey has truly been an exciting one. The invention of wheels was followed by the idea of bullock-carts. Later the great minds boosted their lives a level fast track with the invention of buses, cars, trains and ships. A great change was brought out in the field of transportation with the invention of airplanes. People were astonished to know that they could fly now. However, they did not settle down with just that. The great minds now wanted to explore the universe and hence they invented spacecrafts.
I really wonder sometimes as to where will this streak of inventions will ultimately take us. A day will soon come, when we will watch an amazing invention in the field of transportation with our jaws trying to touch the ground.
Communication: Communication is yet another field of life where technology has truly been blowing our minds. Try to recall the days when postal services were profusely used for communication purposes. Not many years before that people used to send messages with the help of pigeons. Many of you might find it absurd but yes that happened decades back. Much before that people used to send their messages along with their known ones who travelled from their nearby place to a faraway place. Technology has certainly made it very easy for us to contact with anyone on earth. With telephone we talk to people from a different corner of the world. It is much easier now, with the use of internet. We text, speak, listen and view people sitting miles away with a simple click. This is not all; inventions are still being done for creating better means of communication and that makes me go wow.
Education: The technology is not just limited to travel and communication rather it has also changed the way in which education was imparted earlier. The education in the current scenario has gone high-tech. Every class room has a computer, projector and white boards. Students learn through interactive multimedia session. Several new fields for specialization have come up. Many of these fields have come up due to this very technology. There are so many IT training courses that are widely accepted by the students all over the world. Online training is a new concept that has emerged up through which students get educated without going to physical schools. They rather study virtually from home with the help of a computer and internet.
