Design
Design

The feel and the colors of the new Galaxy S3 mobile phone project an extremely sleek design. Samsung has forgone all hardware buttons except a volume rocker, lock button and home button in favor of a smooth chassis. There are two buttons on either side of the home button, which light up only when activated. Samsungs choice of finishes like Marble White and Pebble Blue should wear any scratches reasonably well. The Gorilla Glass 2 screen should be quite scratch and impact resistant. The tidy silver plastic trim and the smooth glass face with its tapered edges combine to create a premium look and feel. At just 133g, the phone is one of the lightest and slimmest in its category

Internals: Processor and Memory

With a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and an incredible 2 GB RAM, the phone boots apps really fast and can multitask without getting hung. This is an incredibly powerful phone with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone comes with a cheaper option of built-in memory of 16 GB and up to 64 GB. There is an extendable MicroSD slot for extendable memory that will take cards up to 64GB in size. So for a phone with 64 GB built in memory, one can get up to 128GB memory in their phones with an additional memory card.

Camera

Armed with an 8 Mega Pixel Camera, the Galaxy s3 has much better camera software. Pictures can be snapped, saved and snapped again in fractions of time required in the previous camera phones.

Display

The Galaxy S3 has a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD at a 1280 x 720 resolution. The display is colorful and sharp. The display uses pixels that are self illuminating, so there is no requirement for a backlight as in LCDs. This provides an amazing contrast with black and other dark colors looking clear and crisp unlike gray and dull in LCDs. The 4.8 inch screen and its HD quality make gaming and movie watching experiences quite enjoyable.

Additional Features

A new feature called Direct Call allows you to call whomever you are texting by lifting to your ear to call them automatically. In answer to Apples Siri, Samsung has come up with the S voice in the Galaxy S3. This seems to be the one drawback of this model as S voice seems to have trouble functioning properly at all times.

Battery Life

With a 2100mAH battery, the galaxy S3 has pretty good battery backup. You can swap for a spare when needed and in future you may be able to get extended batteries that last longer on a single charge. To the left of the battery are two gold contacts. These are for wireless charging, back plate and dock that will allow you to place your phone on its dock to charge it, without having to plug in. The accessories required for these are to be introduced in a few months time.

Conclusion

Its a powerful package at a very reasonable price. Its very fast both online and offline. The fabulous screen, wireless charging and extendable memory with MicroSD slot makes an appealing package. With sleek looks and creative software features, the Galaxy S3 is currently one of the best phones on the market with few rivals. You can buy the new Samsung Galaxy S3 at mobile store like Flipoclick .com at attractive bargain prices.
