subject: Americans Bludgeon Against Unemployment: The Economic Independence The Europeans Never Had [print this page]

In the Eurozone, the union leaders and experts are imposing some austerity measures on the Spaniards to step out of an economic downward spiral, for it is no secret any longer that Spain is in its worst state, and perhaps, the worst in the entire zone. This measure, which basically is a policy of insufficiency reduction by cutting the amounts of benefits and services offered to the people (which mostly comes along with tax increases), has been a key player to the smaller country Greeces improving yet still shaking economy.

Even the connoisseurs up there are saying that it would take years and decades to set Spain free from where it is now, that austerity measure is not enough to change its current state. Bailouts and other economic solutions have been the hot topic there but it seems like everything is close to hopeless.

However, even the American market pundits are saying that even though the country has a very different problem from that of Spain and other struggling EU countries, what is happening now is a complete reflection of the reality that the country is still in its depressed state. Given the fact that the Great Recession has left us three years ago, the job market is still lethargic, which means that the employment sector has no signs yet of improvement. Alongside this problem is the increasing number of layoffs that force the country to produce unemployment benefits for those who are still struggling to get a decent job.

Hence: whats happening up there is by no means different from what is occurring here. Perhaps the only difference is that Americans have the complete independence over their own economy whereas the countries up there, especially Spain, technically, have none. Theyve been receiving orders from the EU. Well, that is the downside of being part of a group.

And that independence is not only a national idea. Compared to the Spaniards, the Americans still have a lot of options to choose from. And we are lucky to have the opportunity to swerve a bit to the governments national plans and practically move on our ownor in other words, to have our own business, to be startup trade owners. In Spain, the Spaniards are not only suffering from their staggeringly daunting 24.4&% unemployment rate but with business ownership as well, for starting up any trade has undoubtedly failed to escape the effects of the ailing economy. Fortunately, we are a hundred times luckier. At least here one can be an online trade owner, an online SEO Reseller, an affiliate partner of an existing company. Even household-related jobs are showing a lot of promises since there are lots of jobless Americans jumping into home businesses that deals with baking, cooking, sewing, nursing, tutorial services and the like.

The economic independence we have now gives many Americans a notion that somehow everyone should be independent in their own ways as well for them to escape the seemingly endless unemployment. During the Great Recession, a lot of online businesses have sprung up despite the growing number of trades shutting down due to the under the weather economy. And as the number continues to grow from the beginning of the downturn to the days of the recessions final days, Americans seem to have the idea of the aforementioned independence. Online businesses boomed during those years, a boom that is still obvious up to this very day.

Online businesss growth and resistance against any economic quandary has somehow helped the entire economy to obtain balance during and after the recession, especially in the unemployment aspect. The presence of ubiquitous business opportunities on the World Wide Web has produced a lot of online business opportunities, too, which, on the other hand became a key factor in the entire online markets strength.

For now, since the United States is still having its own economic predicament, we Americans have no choice but to embrace this independence some Euro countries never had. While we wait for our complete recovery, we have to cling to whats been saving us for years: online business opportunities. It can be temporary, but who knowsit can be a lifetime solution.
