Quite naturally, the homeowners did not like it.They advised the designer that their two year old child would automatically eat the hay off of the walls.The designer responded by saying that they will have to tell their child not to pull the hay off of the wall.This episode goes to show that some designers will do anything in order to stand out in the crowd.However, in this particular instance, the homeowner was not pleased at all.

But this does not mean that there are not any homeowners that are open to weird and crazy design choices.Floating staircases are a well known design that could be considered funky and beautiful at the same time.These types of stairs are great conversation starters.This is because they are a rather dramatic design choice.Many are designed to look as though they are suspended on top of the floor.Even though this is a tricky feast for the eyes, there are some people who do not like them because they are afraid of heights.
