Price negotiation is the best option which is available for all the used car buyers not for the brand new car buyers.

But when you will go to the car dealer, you will realize that it is not so simple to bargain price of a used car, because all the car dealers are professionals in selling and buying cars on profitable rates. So it becomes very difficult for the local buyers to convince the dealer to sell you car on reasonable price. All these car dealers are in this business for a long time back and they knows their customers very well and they knows who can pay them a good amount and who cannot, so never think of making them fool, but a few steps are there which are like universal truth if you follow them then certainly you can get a good rebate on the car which you want to buy, but what are these steps?

First, it all depends on the company of which you are buying the car, let us suppose you are planning to buy a Maruti manufactured car then you won't get much rebate because Maruti cars have good resale value. So if you are buying a car which does not have a good resale value then always try to convince the dealer to sell you the car on reasonable price because he can't sell it anywhere else on a high price.

Second it depends on the model of the car if you want to buy a latest model then best thing you can do is try to find out any individual in your friends list who is interested to sell you his car because only he can sell you that on reasonable price. As latest models price are quite high in the market of used cars.

Third and the final is the condition of the car, if the condition of the car is good then car dealer will try his best to convince you to give him a good amount of the car because the car is in good condition and well maintained and if the condition is not good then you can ask him to decrease its price.
