subject: Headphones [print this page]

Hello and welcome to the beginning of my weekly reviews for GoGizmos.co.uk, this weeks product is the Sennheiser Headphones as shown above, first of all, I'll start by being honest, I have owned a pair of these for several years and I have never had a single problem with them, so if you are looking for something that will last, these are a good option.

Sennheiser (in case you have never heard of them) are a fairly big name in the audio industry, although this has not affected their price range too much, as the headphones in question today are retailed at 24.99. So straight away from me, this is a best buy, they are great value at of the highest quality, and are very well suited for uses in an around the house.

So background; I have used this product for many different uses over the past few years, there is of course personal music use; they are brilliant for keeping your music in, and more importantly, everything else out. Topping that, I have used them during music recording before, and they performed surprisingly well, as this task requires clear, crisp sound with no problems or messing about, and with a 3m cable, you do not compromise movement for quality.

A quick tip, and an absolute must for these headphones; have you ever wanted surround sound? But thought all those big speakers and 20 different wires are too much hassle? Or even a great hulking sub woofer is a bit too expensive? Try headphones. I know it seems silly, sitting on your own, in front of your 50 something inch plasma TV, and here I am telling you to find a headphone slot, but trust me on this, it'll be worth it.

They have an unmatched stereo sound system (without nerd speak), providing some of the best surround sound I have ever experienced, and this goes for both watching home movies and gaming, they are very atmospheric and surprisingly comfy when worn.

So I'll sum it up, if you are wanting some headphones for the house, whether for personal music use, or for those who are a little more adventurous and want more from their audio, pick these up, a bargain price, and they'll last you a while too.

And on that cheery note, I wish you happy shopping for this week, and you'll hear from me again next Friday when I'll be addressing Blu-Ray players. GoGizmos.co.uk
