Parent to Parent - Initial Academic Concerns

American schools are failing because they are organized according to a inflexible, anticompetitive model. A school voucher of $3,000 per pupil per year would give more families the option of sending their children to non-government schools. But, many individuals believe that such a small amount could not possibly cover tuition at a private institution; they may be thinking of such costly schools as Dalton, Andover, and Exeter and concluding that all private schools cost in excess of $10,000 a year.

In fact, Education Department figures show that the average private elementary school tuition in America is less than $2,500. The average tuition for all private schools, elementary and secondary, is $3,116, or less than half of the cost per pupil in the average public school, $6,857. A survey of private schools in Indianapolis, Jersey City, San Francisco, and Atlanta shows that there are many options available to families with $3,000 to spend on a child's education. Even more options would no doubt appear if all parents were armed with $3,000 vouchers.

Parent to parent, I find this to be distressing and we need to consider other options. A famous man once said Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.

Parent to Parent - Childcare Cost

Childcare for babies and toddlers

While your child is in the baby and toddler stages, you'll pay more. That's because kids this age need more hands-on care and so the center must hire more caregivers. The average cost of center-based daycare in the United States is $11,666 per year ($972 a month), but prices range from $3,582 to $18,773 a year ($300 to $1,564 monthly), according to the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (NACCRRA). Parents report higher costs up to $2,000 a month for infant care in cities like Boston and San Francisco.

Childcare for preschoolers

Costs for daycare for preschool-age children are generally lower, averaging $8,800 a year ($733 a month). Depending on where you live, you'll pay anywhere from $4,460 to $13,185 a year ($371 to $1,100 a month).

Parent to parent, I find these numbers to be in the ball park with my children in the states of Florida and Alabama. I had to figure where to get the finances.

Parent to Parent - Sports & Activities

Gymnastics, Soccer, Swim team...The the long list of sports: gymnastics, soccer, swim team, skiing, T-ball. Not to mention tennis, bike riding, and roller-skating. Then the costs: Bike: $200. Gymnastics lessons: $80 a month. Swimming lessons: $75 a month. Soccer season: $75. Ski lessons: $500 for a week at certain places.

Ice Hockey and Figure Skating...If your little one takes to the ice, prepare to take a beating at the bank. Equipment alone for ice hockey can be upwards of $250. Skating lessons before learning with the stick run around $100 for one session. For beginning figure skaters, the cost of lessons runs slightly more, to $130. But if the hobby turns into a serious sport, costs for coaches, travel, and cross-training can run $1,000 to $3,000 a year.

Lacrosse...The game is played by both girls and boys -- and is the fastest-growing sport in the United States, with teams starting as young as kindergarten. For boys, the contact sport requires padding and protective gear: gloves, helmet, shoes, chest padding for the goalie, elbow pads, and shoulder pads, along with a lacrosse stick; all that can set parents back $650. The girls' version of the game, closer to the original Native American sport, does not allow body checks. That leaves the stick, which can be as much as $250, a mouth guard, a face guard, and shoes.

Parent to Parent - My favorite, Higher Education

College costs too much, both for students and for society as a whole. This year, according to the College Board, average published in-state tuition and fee plus room/board charges exceed $17,000 at four-year public institutions, a 6% increase from only one year earlier.

Saying that, do you have the funds to help your children get through college financially? As a fatherwe take providing seriously and it's in our DNA. Saying that, funding college for my children in on top of the list.

Parent to Parent - My Solution

I was introduce to a work from anywhere prospect call Zeek Rrewards. Now, I have been in Technology for 30 years and a my passion is entrepreneurship and I have seen some scams.

But I have never seen an opportunity like this. If you:

Can afford $10 a month? (until it starts paying for itself)

Can paste/copy an ad to a classified a day. (It takes 5 mins a day any my 10 years old son does it for me on the weekends).

Then you can do this! This will be paying for my children's college and when my son becomes 13 years old and I will teach him about it.
