In recent months, Microsoft has been gradually releasing details about what Windows 8 and what new changes it will bring. Firstly, Microsoft launched its user interface which will run across personal computer and tablets. Microsoft Surface is the live example which is also called Windows 8 Pro tablet.

Microsoft has followed the path of 8, means like 8 number has no beginning and ending similar work is done with Windows 8. It is slowly unveiling the intangible benefits of Microsoft to develop PC, tablet and smartphone strategies. This is why new Window 8 phone is predicted to be comprehensive, detailed and smarter. Now the question is will it is capable enough to allow Microsoft to take over the mobile era?

The most spectacular aspect which the both users and windows mobile apps developers are waiting for is that how Microsoft has worked on Hardware as well as User interface for the platform . Microsoft will support x86 and ARM machines both for the first time. Earlier Microsoft only supported x86 processors but now with changing trend it has decided to support ARM processors also on which maximum tablets and smartphones are running.

Though the functionality over ARM machines will be limited in comparison to x86 processors the Windows phone applications can be developed for PCs, tablets and smartphones with very minor changes in the base code of the applications. It is because soon no PC, tablet or Window phone will have different user interface. The new Metro, has made the mobile application development a simpler process for designing application once and deploys it anywhere having windows 8.

Moreover, the announcement of Common core base will allow mobile apps developers to create applications for Windows 8 and easily port them to window phone 8. Mobile developers can also build applications in C/C++ in addition to C# and web based HTML5 via IE 10.

In a nutshell we can say that Microsoft has opened new horizons for mobile development on its potent platform by providing ability to develop cross platform and device solutions.
