What is fun for you? Now that you have an idea of what you enjoy, get rid of that list, and consider replacing it with a list of fun activities you thought only other people would enjoy. All manner of entertainment can be found in Orlando, Florida. You can just nap, or watch world-class wrestling - the choice is yours. Actually, these are only a couple of things you can 'get up to' in a state that has a smorgasbord of entertainments awaiting you. Not just baseball teams and Disneyworld, Orlando has much more to offer - film festivals, comedy clubs, theatrical performances and classical ballet are available as well. It may be time to broaden you mind, to the wide range of fun things that await you in Orlando!

All genres of music can be enjoyed in Orlando, as the musical scene is hot. Numerous clubs, dance halls, live band bars and dinner theatres keep music alive. There are Latino music bars, metal and rock bars, hip hop clubs, and reggae festivals. Ask some of the locals which places are best for live bands, then spend a few evenings exploring local musical talent. That could be fun, right?

Did you know Orlando has often been called Hollywood East? Many movie studios call Orlando their home, and a much filming takes place there each year. As an example, the demolition of the old City Hall building was integral to the plot in Lethal Weapon 3. The independent move industry in Orlando has been very active since the release of hits like The Blair Witch Project, and Charlize Theron's Monster.

The most obvious entertainment attraction in Orlando is Walt Disney World Resort, but do you know many favourite animated films and television shows were also made in Orlando? Mulan, Brother Bear, and Lilo & Stitch were created by a Florida animation company, as were several Nickelodeon productions. TNA Impact! is filmed in Orlando, and as WWE bases most productions of Wrestlemania there as well, that would be expedient. Tours of television, movie and animation studios have been known to take place, but advance notice is required.

The performing arts are alive and well in Orlando. The Central Florida Ballet Company produces annual productions, as does the Orlando Shakespeare Theater. Definitely not to be missed, Both entities create world class productions! The Orlando Repertory Theater and the Mad Cow Theater are highly regarded venues, producing excellent shows. Sometimes the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre, hosts Broadway productions, and if you can manage attending one, it will likely be well worth it - which they do on a regular basis! There are dozens of other theatres, theme parks, water parks, sports venues, museums, galleries and historical monuments to see in Orlando. You can agree that there is fun to be had in Orlando, can you not??
