Their braid pattern... If they sew around and not through the wefts, if they know how to sew your hair without CUTTING the wefts. During: You sit your a$$ down and examine. If you don't like something or it feels weird, please don't be like me. Speak up and tell her something is not right!After: No offense to any stylists here.. But a lot of stylists aren't even big on haircare so if you ask them they'll probably say you should come back to them in a few weeks so they can eat your money. 1.tell the stylist what you want and ask if she ever work with your type of hair2. try to get in front of her mirror during the cut' 3. never leave unhappy or afraid to tell her you are not happy.4.ask for photo's taped hair extensions of work prior to touching your head .5. take 30 minutes to stop by the shop and check out things before your install date6. read the install tips topic above . many ladies gave great advice . 7.check out how clean her shop is . if you see her use a brush on one person to the next without cleaning leave !!8.never feel pressured to go through with the install if the stylist will not listen to what you want are can't perform the service .9. never pay first . a deposit is fine
Go to a stylist that was referred by someone you trust or someone who has a nice install. Take pictures to show your stylist what look you are going for.Ask about pice. What does the price include (take down, condition, cut and style etc). I find a lot of stylists will give you one price but then they charge a separate fee for cut and style.
