Day 01: Fly to Sharm El Sheikh from Cairo
Our representative will pick you up and then you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport to fly to Sharm EL Shiekh city. Upon arriving at Sharm El Sheikh you will be met by our representative and then you will be transferred to your Hotel for Check in and spend a night in Sharm El Sheikh.
Day02: Sharm El Sheikh to Petra/Sharm El Shiekh to Cairo by Flight
Our representative will pick you up from your Hotel at 2:30 am to start moving from your hotel in Sharm El Shiekh to Nuweiba via a modern air-conditioned van . At Nuweiba you will be met and assisted by Our representative .You will take the ferry boat to Aqaba in Jordan .
Then you will move directly to Petra for a full day visit. Petra was first established in around 6th century B.C .Petra was established by the Nabatean"s , a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended up to Syria. In Petra you will go on a horseback to the canyon, the so called Siq (canyon) which is a natural crack in the rocks, the Nabateans developed it into their structure elements, walking through the 1.2 km canyon and enjoying the beautiful carvings of statues, idols and niches.
You will also enjoy visiting various places such as the red rose rock city, the city of the Nabateans and the lost city carve all in the mountains. Then you will continue your trip on foot to the most beautiful monument; the Treasury. On the way to the Treasury you will be wondering about the time that the Treasury will appear to you behind the corner which has been standing there for over than 2000 years.
You will go along the facades street to the Roman theatre, royal tombs, the Roman colonnaded street, Qasr Al-Bent and then the Archaeological Museum. Then you will have your lunch. Then you will be back to Aqaba city for a short city tour and also you will have a free time for shopping. At the end of the tour you will be back to Nuweiba in Egypt and then drive back to Sharm El Shiekh Airport to fly back to Cairo.
