subject: The Best Methods Of Treating Sun Burn And Sun Damage. [print this page]

Isn't summer time awesome? The beach, warm days and nights, vacations, and the ever so popular sun burn. All of us have suffered the Sun's Wrath at some point in time or another. I actually remember having horrible sun poisoning when I was about ten or eleven. My face swelled up so bad my eyes were shut for a day. It was absolutely horrible. The can cause some serious problems if not respected. Prolonged and unprotected sun exposure is actually the number one cause of skin cancer, and wrinkles in the United States. So how do you treat and prevent sun burn and other types of sun damage? Let me tell you.

Well, I guess the most important step to preventing any sun damage to your skin is to never, ever forget you put on sun block whenever youre outside for prolonged periods of time. Use a sun block with an SPF of 40 or higher and re-apply every one to two hours, even if water/sweat proof as the SPF starts to break down as soon as it touches water. Try and avoid sun blocks made with any artificial fragrances or chemical bases as they can cause some serious allergic reactions like redness, itchiness, and burning. Using a quality sun block whenever you're in direct sun is the best defense against sun damage.

Eating an antioxidant rich diet, help to fight off the Free Radicals in the skin, which is essentially the same cancer causing effect, equivalent to staying out in the sun unprotected. Proper vitamin C and E levels in the skin and body also aid in protecting the skin from sun damage.

Aloe is one of the oldest and most popular treatments for sunburn, as well as literally hundreds of other ailments. It is a natural antiseptic, while cooling, soothing and healing damaged skin. Use only the purest aloe you can find and if you have an aloe plant cut it open and use the gel like fluid inside on the burned area every two hours or as needed. Try and avoid any Aloe-esque products that may have a cooling agent, artificial fragrance or the words "made with real Aloe" as the can actually irritate skin, which is not something you want when you have sunburn. Again find the purest Aloe you can for the most relief.

If the sun and the years have already started to take their toll on your skin and body there are quite a few way to start reducing loose skin and wrinkles from around the neck and face. The safest and most reliable option is to look for an organic neck cream that will actually start to regenerate skin cells that have been damaged by the sun or other factors. Recently, some skin care companies have started incorporating stem cells harvest from the cores of various fruits and plants. Stem cells as you may or may not know, are basically "blank templates" and therefore becoming whatever they touch. When fused into a neck cream, plant based stem cells have show tremendous regenerative properties, healing sun spots, wrinkles, and loose skin the natural and safe way.

So there it is the key to preventing and treating sun damage. It's not hard to put some sunscreen before you leave. I know it seem tedious, but it is essential to skin protection when out in the sun or even over cast and snow, as the sun's ray reflect making them just as dangerous. If you do your best to prevent sun damage to your skin then you won't have to take any of the following steps, but if you've already went and forgot to put sun block on, get out the Aloe, and if the wrinkles are on their way, keep them at bay the best of the best all natural neck creams.
