Gone are the days when phones were used for the basic purpose of calling your dear ones. With the advancement in technology, phone has become more of a gadget. The number of applications included in the phones is every increasing as the mobile companies try to outdo one another to get the maximum market share. As this trend increases, the mobile phones have also become a status symbol amongst the young which has prompted the selection of one mobile a daunting task. The top 4 or the best phones available in the market at the moment which are very viable options to opt for have been talked about in this article. All these have the creditability to help you do everything that you might expect from a phone. The prices vary, depending upon the interiors and the comfort that they provide to their owners.

Blackberry 9630: Loaded with a 3.2 megapixel camera, this phone is armed with a good GPS and Bluetooth facility. The size is compact and the display is sharp. The design does not lag behind and the keyboard is easy to use. The drawback is the lack of Wi-Fi and the time lag in camera. Another thing worth noticing is the incompetence of the web browser. Overall, it's a good buy for someone who wants to have everything combined into one and not looking for perfection.

HTC Touch Pro 2: This phone is all that a businessman would need. It has features like the Wi-Fi, provides high GPRS speeds, GPS, Bluetooth and a great email facility. What differentiates it from the rest is the very spacious touch screen. To top it all, it includes conference call management. The keyboard is smooth and so is the interface. The only backdrop is the on board memory which might not be sufficient for some.

Apple iPhone: The iPhone is meant to be an upgrade for the basic generation model although it can hardly be called one as the features are almost the same. The phone has a 600 MHz processor with a RAM capacity of 256MB. The camera allows video recording and has a power of 3-megapixel. As it might have been guessed looking at the CPU capacity, this phone has high processing capability and hence is a high speed one. The screen is huge and to compensate the same, the battery is an extended one which promises high backup. The drawback with the Apple iPhone is in the 3G facility and the call quality.

Nokia E71x: Nokia is known for its prices and this smart phone is no exception. The price is reasonable and the features included are never ending. The exterior is sleek with a 3.2-megapixel camera and the interior boasts of GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and Wi-Fi. Unlike the other smart phones, this has utility for both the businessmen and the general people alike. Like the Apple smart phone, it has a decent backup time. The problem that might be faced is with the keyboard which may not be comfortable for some.
