The activations were over 850,000 per day by that time. During this time it was noted that almost 300 million Android devices had been activated and more than 450,000 apps were in the Play Store. It is no wonder that by March of 2012 a whopping 51% of smartphones ran Android. This indicates a difference of 16.3% year-over-year.

Android, being almost the lifeline of smart phones and tablets is always the subject of constant up-gradation. That is why some or other news on Android is always available. If you were into PC games in the late 90's and early 2000's, you are well aware of the "points for pedestrians" game series known as Carmageddon. It was basically a cartoon game which was a bit violent in nature and was thus, disliked by the frowning elders. Still this particular game managed to win the hearts of many youngsters to whom purposefully driving around and crashing into random people in a digital world was a surprisingly enjoying thing.

The game was developed by Stainless Games, who enjoyed immense popularity after it was released, have now announced that they are going to revive the original classic title and make it compatible for Android platform. It will be released on Android and iOS later this summer. If you are a game-lover of this generation or want to revisit the years of your adrenaline-pumped youth, just go to YouTube and watch the two-minutes worth trailer. It is full of head-banging speed metal crashes and jaw-dropping features. It is a new and improved version of the original Carmageddon PC game, with special game engine and graphics that are impressive enough to awe any PC game lover. Hang on!
