subject: Choose The Right Bed And Create Space For Your Guests! [print this page]

When you have family and friends over you often dont have enough space for them all to sleep. It often involves trying to find those air beds you have somewhere and making spaces to sleep on the sofas and using the sofa cushions on the floor as a mattress for someone else to sleep on.

Sofa beds are a great way to have that extra place for someone to sleep but without having to give up on space that you need to use. Many people put a sofa bed in their living room so that they have the extra space for people to stay over if required. You know that you will need a sofa in your home and so choosing a sofa bed makes the most sense because it allows you to have two uses from one piece of furniture.

If you want to make more space for guests in one room then you may want to try a futon bed (high sleeper). There are many different styles of futon bed available with option of a single bed as the top bed with a desk and a futon chair beneath, or you can choose to have a futon sofa and there are also options with a single bed on top and a double bed below. Futon beds are a great way for allowing a family to share a room when they stay with you, they dont take up much more space than a standard bed but yet you can fit more people into a room.

Your guest room needs to accommodate the different people that you will have staying in it and the futon bed with a single on top and a double below is the best choice, this is because it has a comfortable bed for couples to sleep on but there is also space for their child to share the room with them on the single bed. Having a futon bed in your guest room could also be of great use for when your children have friends to stay over especially if their room does not have enough space for an extra bed.

Futon beds are also very popular in older childrens rooms and young teenagers as they give them all the space they require along with the space for them to have friends stay over. The futon beds with a desk underneath are ideal as it gives them a place to study and do their homework.

If you have two children sharing a bed room then you may find that a bunk bed is a better option than a futon bed. If you choose a single bed bunk bed there is no reason for your children to argue over one having a bigger bed than the other as both beds will be the same size.

There are many different options for creating extra space as there are also guest beds which fit under a single bed and can be pulled out when required, guest beds are more or less just a mattress on wheels. Guest beds are great for childrens rooms as they can have the space in their room to play in but when a friend stays over you can quite simply pull out the guest bed and they can both easily share a room.

We all want to create that extra space with what we have and so bunk beds, futon beds, guest beds and sofa beds really are the ideal choices for your home. By choosing the right bed you can ensure that you have all the space you need when guests stay over.
