subject: Short Vacations On Charter Buses [print this page]

Although we all love to take extended vacations, it's usually expensive and many of us are only allotted so much time to take off from work. But without some sort of vacation, we start to get a bit antsy. Not to mention our brains need a rest from the daily grind of work. So what do you do when you can't afford a trip to Spain for ten days? Take a weekend and travel close to home of course.

While the idea of further exploring American isn't always the most ideal, don't discount our young nation so quickly. We may not have the castles of Ireland or the Mayan ruins, but there are national monuments, beautiful parks, and beaches all along the coast. A weekend vacation can give you the mental break your mind needs while still saving you money so one day you can take that dream vacation overseas.

Taking a charter bus can help you further save money on the getaway. A long drive can turn what's supposed to be a relaxing time into a stressful one if you're faced with traffic jams and a long journey ahead of you. Driving yourself can really wipe you out for the rest of the day. But with a charter bus, the work rests in the hands of the bus driver. So you can sit back and take a nap or just relax until you reach your destination. Charter buses aren't very expensive either, often cheaper than luxury trains and naturally hundreds of dollars cheaper than an airplane.

Plan your weekend trips accordingly and find out when the best season to go is. Even though people love going away during the summer, some locations are more ideal the rest of the year. And who says you can only enjoy a vacation during the hottest months of the year? During the summer it's best to visit states farther up north so it's not quite so hot. Unless weekends on a sultry beach are your style. New England is known for gorgeous foliage in the fall. And in the winter, you might want to enjoy the warmth of the South.

Sometimes all you need is two or three days away from daily life, apart from your usual routine. There is ample opportunity every weekend to plan a fun trip, whether it's with your family, friends, or just by yourself. See where a charter bus can take you this weekend!
