subject: LogoBee Goes Green [print this page] Logo design company LogoBee has recentlystartedtwo green initiatives to benefit both their customers and the environment. One will save a lot of paper tobothclient and companywith a new content management system (CMS) which will also allow projects to run a lot smoother with nopossibility for communications to be lost as spam in email boxes. The other will directly benefit one organization which works for the benefit of the environment, either a charity or a non-profit company.
LogoBee's designers havebuilt their reputation by working closely with their clients, working to produce the ideal logo for their specific needs. This naturally requires a lot of communication, and with so many clients from all over the world, it is essential that good channels of communication are openso that LogoBee canprovide the best service from their base in Montreal, Canada. The goal of the newcontent management system is to improve those channels.
Sometimes emails can be lost in a spam folder, or certain details of a conversation forgotten or overlooked. With the new CMS however, this will not be possible. All written conversations will be kept using this system, for both the designers and project coordinators at LogoBee, as well as the customer, to be able to access themat any time. It will also provide the space for all design work to be uploaded and the customer will have a place for comments. The comments will remain active until action has been takenregarding them, so that nothing will be lost. Also, there will be a message board for each and every customer so that constant communication can be maintained. In terms of the environment, this is hugely beneficial because it will mean that schedules and other paper documents which usually need to be generated at LogoBee can be eliminated andthe information puton the CMS instead. Also, there will be no need for the clientto print out emails or any other documents, asthey will all be keptin the system.
The other project LogoBee has put into effect to help the environment is the prize of a free logo design makeover for a green firm. The competition is now open, and any organisation which benefits the environment in any way can enter, be that in terms of wildlife, vegetation or physical aspects of an environment. This is the first time the competition will be specifically orientedtowards environmental organisations, butLogoBee's design makeover projectshave already benefited thirty one non-profit organisations. These are only the latest strategies by LogoBee to do theirownpartfor the environment. The companyis already trying to be as "green" aspossible by recycling, reusing and doing whatever else they can in order to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
LogoBee is based in Montreal, Canada and has won several awards for its logos since it was founded in 2000. As well as logo design, it also offers website design, business cards, fliers, brochures and all sorts of other vector graphic designs.
